Over the past month I noticed that the Brazilian $DOG Army has been organically using a new symbol for $DOG when talking about $DOG in a "currency" context

It was inspired by the Bitcoin symbol except it emphasizes a prominent "D" for Dog rather than "B" for Bitcoin inside of an orange circle

Similar to the Bitcoin symbol the "D" is tilted at a 14 degree angle

I knew that it was probably inevitable that people would start thinking about $DOG in a currency context but I didn't realize it would start this fast

Similar to BTC, $DOG is decentralized, has a hard cap on supply, and is secured by the full hashrate of the Bitcoin network

In many ways this already makes $DOG a better currency than most fiat currencies which are inflationary and subject to the whims centralized authorities

The adoption of this additional $DOG currency symbol happened fully organically and I just wanted to highlight it and give a huge shoutout to @INVESTIRDOZERO and @Leandro99613768 who created it!

I just inscribed the symbol so that everyone can easily find it and use it however they want:
