Also, it's Dems themselves who denied these folks representation by quitting early.

The fact is - Leader Cutler scheduled a special election on Feb. 7 ... and if the other two members had quit on election night, Cutler would have scheduled all for that date. But they waited until session ended and hoped the rules would be ignored, but instead, lost the majority.

In a letter to both Cutler and McClinton, both of whom sent letters to Wheeler asking her to acquiesce to their respective special elections, Wheeler said she views her role as administrative -- she signs off on any order from an elected official put before her.
