On Piers Morgan Uncensored, Pulitzer-winning historian Benjamin Moser said the standard definition of Zionism is wrong: it was never simply Jewish self-determination. It was a project of Jewish power over other people, in a land that was overwhelmingly Palestinian.
He grew up a passive liberal Zionist in Houston. His new book, Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History, traces the long Jewish tradition that rejected that project — rabbis, ministers, writers, and activists who warned it meant dispossession. He says the book exists because of Palestinians, and that they are the real victims of Zionism.
Anti-Zionism is not a break with Jewish history. For a lot of Jews, it is the history.
Owen Jones just laid out the most devastating indictment of Israeli society and its military:
70% of Jewish Israelis believe there are no innocents in Gaza. That means: No babies. No children. No mothers. No fathers. No grandparents
The UN found Israel deliberately targeted children.
Dr. Guthrie testified that soldiers played games with Palestinian bodies-shooting different parts of children on different days.
.@ZackPolanski: "people are disgusted & appalled by the genocide in Gaza, & I think what people want to see, & the Green Party are absolutely unified for.. a 2 way arms embargo on Israel, an end of sharing intel, & boycott divestment & sanctions. We need to end the genocide"
This child was woken up at 2am by the sound of a car exploding meters from his home. First he was crying, then they couldn't keep him away from the smoldering shell. The only reason the story is known is because it was @the_andrey_x’s car. But there was nothing unusual about what happened—a typical night in al-Mughayyir, where settlers, backed by the IDF, terrorize the community day and night.
.@ZackPolanski: "I grew up in a zionist household.. with the idea that that region was a land without a people & a people without a land.. I don't believe that's true, & what we're seeing is an ongoing genocide & the displacement of the Palestinian people."
New: Jewish students will boycott Columbia/Barnard Hillel as it hosts an Israeli group "encouraging Jewish students to move to settlements on land Israel seized from Palestinians."
Group recently demolished homes, displacing Palestinian families & seeks to demolish dozens more.
🧵When I asked about Hannibal Directive in 2024, the State Dept remarkably claimed they didn’t know about the “supposed directive”. And no major media took note of this denial even though it’s about The Hostages they all claim to care about. See video of this deranged denial:
.@WaelDahdouh’s nephew has been killed in Gaza in an Israeli overnight airstrike.
Lost his home, children, wife, and now more of his family members. Got severely wounded. All for his journalism.
How much can this giant of journalism bear? Where’s international media support?
The day after Rihan was killed, I found a photograph of her notebook online. In a cruel coincidence, she had been learning subtraction in her math class. She had also been practicing how to write several Arabic words: تفاحة (apple), موز (banana), and برتقالة (orange). One of the last things that Rihan wrote in her notebook was “Our village is clean.” Her blood was all over the page.
I genuinely don’t know how anyone reads this and keeps scrolling.
Mosab Abu Toha describes his nephews going back to school in a tent surrounded by bombed out homes.
No desks. No chairs. No textbooks.
Three days a week. Three hours a day.
One of his nephews watched a 9 yo girl sitting beside him get shot in the jaw while waiting for her teacher to check her work.
She died.
The last things she wrote in her notebook were simple Arabic words for “apple,” “banana” and “orange.”
Her blood covered the page.
That is the part of Gaza people need to understand: Zionists haven’t just destroyed schools. They have stolen childhoods.
📹NEW VIDEO -- The truth about Israel, lobbying and the Labour Party
How has Labour Friends of Israel managed to keep its sources of funding a secret?
We spoke to journalist Solomon Hughes whose discovery gave us some answers.

An excellent interview by @ZackPolanski on Sky
And well done to him here for turning a question about criticism of him by Caroline Lucas back to talking about the need to end arms exports to Israel, to support boycott divestment & sanctions, & to end the proscription of PA
"The enemy is Gaza, not Hamas.”
Speaking to the Jerusalem Post, Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin said that the entire population in Gaza, children, are the “enemy”, while framing total forced expulsion, permanent annexation, and settlement in Gaza as a moral obligation
These days I am frequently asked about the upcoming Israeli elections.
I think that they will likely bring people of this kind to the Knesset.
It's not just fugitive Netanyahu, but an entire class of established and emerging leaders calling for ethnic cleansing and genocide.
These are the words of @susanabulhawa that the Oxford Union censored until a legal settlement was reached on 5 October.
Listen to her words threes years into Israel's accelerated genocide against Palestinians.
Following the publication of my report yesterday, I’ve been passed a list of 77 Labour MPs funded by Brentford FC shareholder Gary Lubner.
One in five in Andy Burnham’s party have had their campaigns and/or staff financed by a single man.
More on this story as it develops...
In December 1948, Albert Einstein and other Jewish intellectuals warned Americans that Menachem Begin’s party was built on terrorism and fascism.
On December 4, 1948, the New York Times published a letter signed by Einstein, Hannah Arendt, Sidney Hook, and more than two dozen others. It was written as Begin, former leader of the Irgun, toured the United States to raise support for his new Freedom Party (Tnuat Haherut / Herut).
The letter said the party was “closely akin in its organisation, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties.” It described the Irgun as “a terrorist, right-wing, chauvinist organisation” and said the movement preached “an admixture of ultra-nationalism, religious mysticism, and racial superiority.” Terrorism against Jews, Arabs, and the British, the signers wrote, was a means; a “leader state” was the goal.
They specifically pointed to the April 1948 attack on Deir Yassin, where Irgun and Lehi forces killed large numbers of Palestinian villagers, as an example of the methods the party carried into politics. The letter urged Americans not to be misled by Begin’s visit or by post-independence talk of freedom and democracy.
Begin’s party later became a core of Likud. The warning Einstein signed was not about some fringe faction. It was about the political lineage that still shapes Israeli policy toward Palestinians.
