In 2020, the NY based MLB moved the All-Star game from Atlanta to protest Ga’s new voting rules SB202. Headlines read, “Jim Crow 2.0, they even banned water for voters in poor areas enduring long lines.”
In 2024, 68% of Ga’s eligible voters voted. In contrast, 60% in NY, where the law against the distribution of food and drink is over 100 years old. What did the law actually do?
