Remember the first rule of Plover Club: You do not lose it if a picture has less than 4 chicks in it. 😉

50 years. 30,000 hot dogs. One miracle. Meet Brant Lidman. Along with his wife Sandy, Brant has become a familiar face to countless Chicagoans from behind the counter at Byron’s Hot Dogs, and he’s the subject of The Go-To’s inaugural story.

Don’t believe this guy!! Stay away from Chicago! I love making dinner plans at the last minute and getting a table at a great restaurant. I love walking up to the clubhouse and playing 9 holes on the lakefront. I love not waiting in line to see our world-class museums. I love

There’s a lot more to say and more that I’m proud of, but I’ll just say this: WBBM’s digital team didn’t deserve to go out like this. The team did good work despite corporate leaders who, IMO, clearly don’t never understood digital media.

An eye for coaching talent is one of the non-negotiables to be a successful head coach. If you can't identify the right people for your staff, whatever strengths you do have matter much less.
Nearly 60% of eligible Chicago voters have cast a ballot so far in the 2024 general election, according to data shared by the Chicago Board of Elections. WBBM's @MikeTish4 reports:

George “Papa Bear” Halas — the founder of the Chicago Bears and a co-founder of what became the NFL — spoke at length to WBBM Newsradio 44 years ago. @JoshLissSports pulled from the archives how luck kept Halas away from the infamous Eastland Disaster. https://t.co/fWpi5j8cCB
