Been thinking about doing this for... longer than I'd like to admit. The new design is way truer to my real self, especially throughout the past year. Normally I fear change. I uhh- I still do, but this is a worthy exception. :T

@p_fritzart The mystery gang are supposed to represent classic teen archetypes. Shaggy should be the laid-back slacker party dude who always seems high. He can still have his appetite and cowardice but leave the cartooniness and slapstick to Scooby

@p_fritzart Shaggy and Scooby also just feel way too samey in recent adaptations, to the point where Shaggy alone could fill Scooby's role well enough to make him practically redundant

@Le_Unorthodox Remember the end of BMO's Distant Lands special when he meets Finn and Jake as toddlers? THAT's when I thought this'd take place but It seems to mostly just be more of season 1
I'm pretty happy with how it looks but I was really hoping they'd do different art styles per episode
