Firefighters at Station 40 (near Highway 85 and Titan) spotted this Colorado resident enjoying the sunrise from their parking lot today. Typically they welcome visitors to tour the firehouse, but no introductions were made this time.
@Kealoha303 Memories brother! Hope I’m invited to your retirement party! I wasn’t your student, but you were an inspiration. Although my path deterred from teaching, I’ll never forget Hunters Glen with you!👊🏽
This is a must watch video! At 9:40 this morning Firefighter Armstrong from Engine 15 rescued Watson the golden retriever from an ice-covered pond along the Big Dry Creek Trail in Centennial – The same spot where a woman and her dog were rescued by SMFR just 5 days ago.
Around 4:30 this afternoon SMFR responded to a rollover collision at Wadsworth and Parkhill Ave. Thankfully no one was injured but this 16 week old puppy was pretty scared. Some quiet time in the safety of an ambulance with a caring paramedic firefighter was the best medicine.
@AnnieAgar@abedgood3 Do hockey instead of basketball please!😉 Yet, we will take what you entertain us with next. Actually, you’d probably crush NASCAR, golf, tennis, cornhole, poker, bowling...waiting🤔
We Coloradoans love the snow! However, snow and cold can add a layer of danger to our communities. WinterWise is a new program offered by SMFR to educate residents on how to keep themselves, their pets, and firefighters safer during the winter months. [email protected]
