@PickMeProduce @zeefarmer I had something similar last year on part of a field, didn’t even come around after desiccating with reglone, I think that was due to a wee bit of herbicide carryover when I switched to fungicide 😡 frustrating to say the least

Palm Sunday - “He Took the Road—For You”

Thank You, Jesus, for taking the road to the cross on a donkey. You went all the way—for each and every one of us. My message on this Palm Sunday is simple: make sure He did not die in vain for you. Lift up your heart, and let Him lift you in return.

Isaiah 53:5
“But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

This verse prophetically describes the suffering of Jesus—the road He chose to walk. Long before Palm Sunday, God promised a suffering Servant who would take the punishment that brings us peace.

Zechariah 9:9
“Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey—riding on a donkey’s colt.”
This promise was fulfilled on Palm Sunday. Jesus did not ride in with force, but with peace and humility, beginning the final stretch to the cross.

Matthew 21:5
“Tell the people of Jerusalem, ‘Look, your King is coming to you. He is humble, riding on a donkey—riding on a donkey’s colt.’”
Jesus’ deliberate choice to fulfill this prophecy revealed His identity and His mission. He came not to be served, but to serve, and to lay down His life for many.
John 19:30
“When Jesus had tasted it, he said, ‘It is finished!’ Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
From the donkey ride to the cry from the cross, Jesus completed the mission. He bore our sins, finished the work, and opened the door for our redemption.

Four Helps for Today
1.⁠ ⁠Remember: Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus chose this path for you—personally and intentionally.
2.⁠ ⁠Repent: Let this holy day move you to surrender anything in your life that says “no” to Jesus’ sacrifice.
3.⁠ ⁠Receive: His love is not based on your perfection—it’s based on His finished work.
4.⁠ ⁠Rejoice: You are invited to the King’s table. Let your life show that He did not die in vain.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for taking the road to the cross—for me. You came in humility, You died in power, and You rose in glory. On this Palm Sunday, I lift my heart in gratitude. May my life reflect Your love, and may Your sacrifice never be in vain in me. Help each person who reads this to see You clearly, love You fully, and follow You faithfully.
