A couple of group photos from when we were in Ukraine. Today is St Nicholas Day and we know the children will be opening the gifts we delivered over the next few days.

What the whole trip was about - trying to bring some joy to the children of Chernivtsi. Mark particularly relishing his role as Santa, here.

We made it! Just unloaded the vans at the Caritas Chernivtsi HQ to the backdrop of the air raid sirens being sounded.

We've finally made it to the charity's HQ - what a journey! Air raid sirens went off just as we were unloading the vans. A stark reminder of why we are here.

Making good progress through the mountains now that we're finally in Ukraine. Around 4 hours of driving left to reach Chernivtsi.

[Mike Wright @MikeWrightESA]

Thank you to everyone who's donated to get us over the £30k line. Chernivtsi here we come (finally)!

[Children of Chernivtsi Christmas Appeal @appealukraine23]

We've made it into Ukraine! Slightly later than planned due to a few issues crossing the border, but we're now well on our way to Chernivtsi.

And we've now smashed our £30k appeal target. Thank you all for donating.
