@elonmusk Nuclear is much better than coal and safety has been vastly improved since Chernobyl. Nuclear needs to be used as transitionary to solar, wind, geothermal, and hydro.
@BostonMassUSA While better than not having it, this is still far from optimal. Which is to make the sidewalk stay the same level through the crossing and force the cars to go over a small sidewalk speed bump if theyβre turning. Why force pedestrians onto the road?
@AdamWylde Sure, but again why cant CBJ just place Elvis on their own LTIR like right now? Whats stopping them from getting the cap relief using their own season ending LTIR? Why (I assume) attatch an asset to get rid of Elvis when CBJ could place him on their own LTIR? Im very confused
@JTLonsdale You tech idiots are just describing a subway ππExcept a subway moves more people, and faster than this dumb idea of a tunnel with cars ππMy god there's no need in re-invent something that already works great.
@RM_Transit A politician would never ask that question. They cannot admit that they don't know something. The expectation is that they have opinions on everything once they get into power, and transit is no different. Thats why costs are so high, politicians simply accept the $ amount.
@dwaynedisney@RM_Transit I think Jane (and Dufferin too) should get their own LRTs that run on the surfaces. Use the subways to move people farther distances and the LRTs for the single street demand.
@RM_Transit Honestly I cannot believe there have not been any federal or provincial conservatives who vehemently run on reducing the costs of transit construction to reasonable amounts. They could so easily call out (rightfully) the liberal and conservative pols who have let this happen
@levine2001@ShadowbanSlam@JohnDoyle I completely disagree with that assesment. The prosecution in 12AM had each of their pieces of evidence legitimately called into question. How can that be good enough to convict someone of murder? If all of the circumstantial evidence is very shaky then its NOT enough to convict.
@levine2001@ShadowbanSlam@JohnDoyle You are failing to examine the merits of each "pick-apart". The picking apart done in the OJ trial (especially the blood evidence) was bad, sloppy, and objectively wrong. The picking apart done in 12AM was correct. That's the difference.
@levine2001@ShadowbanSlam@JohnDoyle The prosectution had DNA blood evidence against OJ. Thats far more than anything the prosecution had in 12 angry men. Nearly all the evidence in 12AM was called into question and therefore there is basically no other evidence to combine with anymore to re-gain trustworthiness
@levine2001@ShadowbanSlam@JohnDoyle Youβre failing to acknowledge that nearly every piece of evidence used by the prosecution in the movie was picked apart to be untrustworthy. Therefore the context is now ALL in question and how can you convict when the entire case becomes faulty?
