25 years ago on this date, God Forbid’s @centurymedia Records debut album, Determination, was released - Raw, pissed off, experimental, ambitious, genre-bending, and maybe the most artistic album we ever made. It was the perfect amalgamation of the many influences we were steeped in at the time - American thrash and groove metal, math-y and dischordant hardcore, refined Scandinavian melodic death metal, underpinned by a distinct and rugged New Jersey attitude and feel. For many God Forbid fans, it's their favorite, and we are still very proud of it.
