@sixersmenace Simple. Voters hated the process and will penalize sixers ownership for years by screwing players out of individual awards and Vegas knows it.
Never a doubt.
That’s a win by more than one run and a series sweep.
Adolis is back? No need for a right-handed bat at the deadline?
Final Out in a half hour on @SportsRadioWIP!
Playing in Philly is like playing a postseason game everywhere else…even when it's just a regular-season game.
That’s how fun it is! @Phillies#mlbontbs
Boomer Esiason 100% right on the Jaxson Dart, Abdul Carter controversy.
Dart was asked to introduce President Trump at a New York event, so did it. He said nothing political or partisan -- tho I'm sure he supports President Trump (as do most NFL players and 90% of NFL QBs).
If, for some reason, I were asked to introduce Barack Obama, I would do it, and be honored and respectful about it -- even though I think Obama was a horrible President. I would even find something positive to say -- because that's what you do if you have manners.
I once had a very good conversation with President Bill Clinon -- even though I was on the other side politically. Clinton even told me he thought I would agree with a lot in the speech he was going to give.
This is how politics should be conducted -- in a civil manner, even when we have strong disagreements.
In other words, we need more John Fettermans.
I put the Phillies in my Power Rankings last week at No. 10 and a lot of people were mad.
Nobody else had them in Power Rankings.
They have the best record in MLB over the last 2 weeks and they just put up 5 runs on Paul Skenes in 5 innings.
I look forward to having them in my rankings once again tomorrow, seeing them in everyone’s power rankings, and having everyone that told me it was ridiculous saying “I’m sorry”.
Sources: The #Chargers have agreed to terms with former #Browns TE David Njoku, giving him a 1-year deal worth up to $8M.
After nine years with Cleveland, Njoku moves on to catch passes from Justin Herbert in a deal done by @malkikawa of @FirstRoundMgmt.
Joel Embiid, on the Knicks:
"At times, it's okay to just say the other team was better....Gotta get better, from top to bottom. Ownership, front office, players, coaches. Everybody just gotta get better."
I don't understand what people find so complicated about why there are so many Knicks fans there. The Sixers are down 3-0, haven't been past the 2nd round this entire era.
Because of secondary markets, even if you sold Sixers fans cheap tickets they'd resell them to Knicks fans at much higher prices.
Knicks fans are more willing to spend money on the tickets than Sixers fans, which makes sense to me.
Not defending the secondary market stuff, which is a whole other issue and has turned season ticket holders largely into ticket brokers to afford it. It just sort of is what it is.
I don't blame Sixers fans, I don't think it makes you a bigger tougher fan to spend money on a product you don't believe it. I don't blame Sixers players for hating it.
Joel Embiid: "I have a message for our fans. Last time we played the Knicks, it felt like [Philly] was Madison Square Garden East. We're gonna need the support. Don't sell your tickets. This is bigger than you...If you need money, I got you."
Don’t want to hear any 1st round crap. Sixers were down 3-1. They were blown out multiple times. They took down a Celtics team 3 times in Boston. A team many felt could win the East. A franchise that has haunted us for decades in the postseason. You’re not gonna downplay this.
