The U.S. Embassy’s American Citizens Services (ACS) Unit is pleased to announce an upcoming outreach event in partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Federal Benefits Unit/Social Security Administration (SSA). We will provide in-person services at the following locations and dates:
Angeles City: Thursday, January 15, 2026
- Location: Clark Marriott Hotel
- Service Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (sign-up begins at 6:30 a.m.)
- Participants: ACS, VA REGIONAL OFFICE, AND SSA
Olongapo City: Friday, January 16, 2026
- Location: Le Charmé Suites
- Service Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (sign-up begins at 6:30 a.m.)
- Participants: ACS AND SSA
Services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot.

Applicants for Citizenship and Passport services must review all information on the U.S. Embassy website and come prepared to help ensure their application is processed quickly.
· Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) applications:

- All CRBA applicants MUST register through the eCRBA system and carefully follow the instructions for uploading required documents and paying the fee online. · Discussing eligibility and processing claims for Social Security benefits.
· Processing Social Security Number (SSN) applications.
· Resolving issues such as address changes, direct deposit, Medicare enrollment, or non-receipt of benefits.
VA – Regional Office (ANGELES only)
· Answering inquiries about VA benefits and claims.
· Helping complete applications for compensation or pension benefits.
· Providing information on PACT Act claims.

On July 16, 2020, the California Supreme Court announced it will permanently lower the passing score for its Bar Exam from 1440 to 1390 out of a possible 2000. This will be applied moving forward and not retroactively.
