@AutoPap These have a special place in my heart. I was 23 and started working in a Jag dealership when I was thrown the keys to a brand new one of these to drive 5 or 6 miles. The noise and power was completely alien to me at the time.
@DavidJParsons@AutoPap I think this is a masterstroke from Jaguar's PR team. Their sole function is to enhance brand recognition and to get people talking. They've done it spectacularly because now everyone is holding their breath to see what their new car will actually look like
@AutoPap@BobFlavin@harrismonkey In Ireland, due to our Draconian emissions based registration taxes, a brand new BMW M5 is significantly cheaper than a new BMW M3.
@TheBishF1@Brands_Hatch@BTCC@diagonalcomms First racetrack I went to about 20 years ago. Sitting on in the grandstand watching rallycross. I was amazed you could see the whole track
@StripeyMiata So while his 1924 Austin limousine and 1952 Triumph are much nicer cars, they require a lot more care. And the truth is, most couples don't care. They want something nice for the photos with a ribbon on the front that will get them to the church/reception on time.
@StripeyMiata My father in law runs a wedding car business. Has 3 of these amongst others. Am I a fan, no. But from a business point of view, they make sense. More reliable, less maintenance, less wear/tear when driven over distance, don't need to be trailered to/from distant weddings.
Burkes never not at it. Complaining about their post being delivered in An Post van with pride colours & brรณd/pride written on it. There's just over two weeks before Enoch returns to Wilson's Hospital School and the whole shitshow begins again. Thoughts with the school *sigh*.
