Just spent three hours on the phone with @Apple and @Verizon. No way to help me. That $400-500 a month bill I've paid for the past 20 years to @Verizon apparently means nothing. @ATT might be getting a new customer.

So if someone steals your iPhone while it's unlocked (or has code to unlock) and changes your Apple ID password, you can't then change the password remotely. Only way to change requires sending code to stolen device. So you have no way to turn on the "Find My" app.
