Ukraine is grateful to the United States for its unwavering support and is ready for systematic defense and security cooperation. I had a productive meeting with U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker, Commander of NATO Security Assistance & Training for Ukraine Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, and U.S. Chargé d'affaires a.i. in Ukraine Sandra Oudkirk.

We exchanged views on the continued development of relations between our two countries and the implementation of the important agreements reached with the American side. In particular, we discussed the bilateral talks between the President of Ukraine and the President of the United States in Ankara, primarily on licensing the production of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems.

We also reviewed and analyzed the current situation on the battlefield and the impact of deep and middle-range strikes on the further course of military operations and on the willingness of Russia's elites and Russian society to resume the negotiation process and bring the war to an end.

Together with Sergii Koretskyi, we determined how the approaches to the personnel policy of the Government of Ukraine will be updated and what changes need to take place across the ministries. The immediate priorities are to honestly evaluate what has been accomplished under the resilience plans for regions and communities and to maximize the pace of implementation by the beginning of August.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine briefed me on the response to the aftermath of Russian strikes and on the tasks currently facing Odesa, Dnipro, and Kharkiv regions. Importantly, work with partners is ongoing to ensure Ukraine's financial resilience, implement our defense agreements with partners, and accelerate the production, procurement, and delivery of the weapons needed most urgently. I am grateful to Sergii for keeping our partners fully informed.

The Prime Minister and his team are preparing the Government of Ukraine's program. The document is to be presented in the near future. Glory to Ukraine!
