Businesswoman Wakalucy, Monica Waithera Chege, the owner of the popular Wakalucy Fish Palace franchise, was laid to rest today at her home in Mukurweini, Nyeri County…
This lady was built different. She could report to a branch, say Kiambu Road or Kasarani, and start serving customers herself, despite being very successful and employing hundreds of people…..
May she rest in peace.

🚨Manchester United Players Recent Quotes on Carrick:
🏴 Kobbie Mainoo: "We want to follow him. We want to die for him on the pitch. He wants us to fight, and we did that today. His confidence in not just me, but all the players."
🇧🇷 Matheus Cunha: "The boss understands the soul of this club. He doesn't need to shout to get his point across; his energy and the way he communicates just makes you want to fight for him. He touched the heart of this group from day one, and you can see that in how we’re playing."
🇵🇹 Bruno Fernandes: "I always knew Michael would be a top manager. He has won everything here and he knows the standard required. He’s brought a structure and a demand that we needed, but he does it with a level of respect that makes every player want to give their best for him."
🇸🇮 Benjamin Šeško: "For a striker, playing under Carrick is a dream because he organizes the team to find those vertical spaces. He’s always talking to us about 'pictures' on the pitch—seeing the move before it happens. He has made the transition into this league so much smoother for me."
🇦🇷 Lisandro Martínez: "He has touched my heart already. The way he trusts the players and the way he connects with everyone is unbelievable. When a manager understands your quality and demands that standard every day, you give everything on the pitch for him."
🏴 Harry Maguire: "Michael’s come in, he’s been brilliant with us, he’s brought a fresh energy in, the group’s really galvanised.
This group of players absolutely love playing under Michael Carrick. I’m of the opinion that Carrick gets the job + back him properly in the transfer market + additional back-room staff.

"We’d like to offer you the position at $85,000."
Most people say: "That sounds great, thank you!"
Stop. You just left $10,000+ on the table in 5 seconds.

Dear Mr. President, SIR:
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT.
I've, on this very platform, defined you in almost exact descriptions as you have to Cyrus Jirongo (RiP). For once, Sir, your every word here befits a true tribute to CJ, unlike other ritualistic tributes that you flash randomly as a norm. It'd be hygienic if we politicians, starting with the holder of highest office in the Republic, ceased what seems hypocritical "sadness" and "shock" just to fill condolence pages. Given the accusations levelled against you by Hon. Cyrus Jirongo, for years and until a few weeks ago, you'd have posed to reflect what to tell the country. Jirongo accused you:
1. That 1992, you forged supply of 1000 YK'92 T-shirts to be paid for 10,000.
2. That you strangled a young man to death in public as MPs George Kapten, Jirongo himself & others watched in utter shock.
3. That you killed ICC witness Meshack Yebei.
4. That you killed Jacob Juma, an accusation also made by Senator Boni Khalwale and alluded to by Speaker Moses Wetangula, on live media, which is still in youtube and other channels.
5. That you are an incorrigible liar who shouldn't be trusted or believed even once.
6. That you can't ever do any public project without your private financial interest therein, an accusation often levelled against you by your former Attorney General Hon JB Muturi who was, until recently, your minister of Public Service .
With all due respect, Your Excellency, Sir, though discretionary to your individuality on how you mourn whoever you want, it would be honourable to at least not ignore these serious things that Hon Jirongo agonised over against you for years and said them openly and fearlessly about you. Inarguably, as yourself once said during a funeral in his backyard, Hon Jirongo knows you better as he was your boss YK'92.
Sir, I write this opinion in absolute good faith, albeit with trepidation because we know you host little tolerance. We truly hope that for once, this round, you will pose to show sensitivity and respect by not faking a dirge just for passage.
Let me repeat what positives I've said about you before. One, you stick with and enable your friends. Two, you are a good Dad, even enviably so. Third, you're energetic, workaholic. Fourth, you're sharp upstairs. Fifth, you're eloquent. These attributes, your inalienable decorations. But the 3rd, 4th & 5th traits are worthless if used, as you do, to steal, lie, oppress, abduct, and kill. You can buy your weak critics as you did 2022, but the tag of liability to the country won't exit your profile. Yes, your energy crashed President Moi 2007, robbed PM Raila victory 2017, shamed President Uhuru & PM Raila 2022, as you craftly danced to western capitals for puppeteering. You mock Opposition to you that Raila was your only worthy rival for 2027 poll. While it is highly possible that some within opposition ranks are your moles, the restlessness, agony, despair, and hunger for change amongst Kenyans is unstoppable.
Fortunately, there is still time for you, Sir, to troop to reality, stop the shenanigans and mockery, and do the right things to enable you to retire honourably in a few months. And, don't for a minute underestimate citizens' resolve for a Kenya without you at the helm.
For now, ponder the pertinent Hon. Cyrus Jirongo QUESTIONS because they won't ever go away. CJ's bold spiriting voice shall continue to reverberate.
Think about it, Your Excellency, Sir

My issue is not with Ruto as a person. My issue is with the entire system that created him, sustained him, and will gladly replace him with someone just as dangerous. Kenya’s collapse is not the work of one man. It is the result of a political class that functions like a syndicate. Elections in this country are not solutions. They are reset buttons for looting to continue with a different name on the cheque.
Take our debt crisis. No politician is going to fix it because they are all part of it. They approved the loans. They inflated the budgets. They sat in the cabinet meetings and made sure the same thieves were awarded tenders. The ones you see campaigning are the same ones who signed away your future. You don’t solve rot by rotating the mold.
Same thing with corruption, land fraud, state violence, collapsing healthcare, and tribal manipulation. These are not governance mistakes. They are deliberate systems of extraction and control. And every politician benefits from keeping them in place.
The other problem is our education system. It trained us to obey, not to think. It didn’t build citizens. It built spectators. That is why so many still believe the solution is to vote in another president. That mindset is the result of years of intellectual damage. We were taught to look up to power, not question it.
The biggest mistake Kenyans will make is believing that we need another president.
We don’t.
We need to reset the system from scratch. Remove everyone who has ever been part of the problem. And rebuild a country that serves the people, not just the powerful.
Everything I’m saying now will become painfully clear between 2027 and 2032. You’ll remember this conversation when the next government is facing the same chaos and offering the same lies.
