@saragroe Very odd year. OU had 6 losses on selection day. They had 1 run losses to the #2, 5, 13th, and 15th team, a run rule over #6 UCLA, and a win over ranked Arkansas. They were the #10 seed.

There is not a single example in D1 softball history, where a team with OU's complete resume, was not selected as at least a top 4 seed. Implying any team with OU's resume is a bubble teams, is disingenuous at best, ignorant at most

@ScottMorris12 I want them to succeed for DJ Gasso, but their post season performance is what keeps them out of conversations. 3 super regional losses and 2 regional losses in 5 years, all ar home, is a 400 lb gorilla on their back.

@TobyBaker579097 @JasonRhea1 The committee historically puts little weight in Febuary wins. Since OSU on Feb. 28th, Nebraska has only played one potential post season team...UCLA, and that was a month ago. The teams ahead of them have been facing each other for the last month.

@john9williams Softball is farther down the total sports good chain than many fans want to believe. Displays of passion create excitement, and increase engagement. Softball needs all of the engagement it can muster. It is a necessary component of growing the sport.

They both have allowed 4 steals this year. Atwood has committed 2 errors, Wells none.
The difference is small and temporary.
