The LPGA Tour has been vocal about drastically improving their telecast. In just the last 30 minutes we've seen:
-An in-depth booth interview with Natasha Andrea Oon after she broke down in tears on her final hole (first made cut of her career)
-A clear effort to get player/caddie convos in the fairway
-A lot of drone shots showing off the layers of Sharon Heights
-Cool handheld fairway shots that also show off the golf course's features.
It certainly helps to have such a fun looking golf course to display. Great to see some serious progress so quickly. Should be some really good primetime viewing this weekend.
Same old Ohio State 😂😂😂😂. Get them in a close game and they roll over. No guts. Congrats to Indiana on a great season. Going undefeated in the conference is something only great teams do. Will Ohio ever win the Big 10 again? I can’t wait to hear the excuses.
Thoughts on tonight’s loss @ GreenBay:
• I can’t really find a positive player to give a shoutout to. Every single one came out flat, body language was off, energy was never there.
• Maybe Jayden’s worst game as a pro. Only other one that comes to mind is @ Eagles last year which was coincidentally also on the road on Thursday Night Football.
• Quinn’s decision to kick a 58 yarder right before the half, down 14-3, with a guy who is known to suck from 50+ and already missed once before… is one of the weirdest decisions I’ve seen Quinn make. They go for that last year.
• Credit to Packers D for neutralizing Jayden, but we saw this a few times last year where Kliff wants to play the whole game at or behind the LOS. There was no threat of big play and pack could sit on everything.
• They’re gonna have to ride the kicker carousel again. They apparently didn’t learn from last season. It was well known when they signed him that he was a dud from 50+, and they got a fatal taste of that tonight.
• Not really sure what to make of the run game. They obviously prefer to keep the ball in Jayden’s hands, which is fine. But Ekeler between the tackles and only a tiny bit of Bill isn’t going to work.
• Conerly got a lesson from Parsons. I was wondering if they’d think to go to Wylie but I can see them wanting to let their first rounder learn the hard way.
• Lattimore was getting turned around all night. He continues the theme of last year where he has a game where you forget he’s on the team, followed by a game where he’s targeted every play.
• As a fan I love having football on Thursday’s, but there are just way too many injuries. I think they had 7. Pack had a good bit too.
• Hope Ekeler is okay, that’s a big blow, but they were without him for a lot of last year anyway.
• 10 days to heal up and play at home vs. Raiders.
