@NASASpaceflight I was wondering whether you had plans to expand your coverage in Florida? With so much going on at #SpaceX and #BlueOrigin it seems an ideal location, if possible and in budget, to set up some permanent cameras like Starbase?
@NASASpaceflight@SpaceX I can’t be the only one wondering why you built the Starfactory as it was, just to start tearing it down six months after, before it was even really fully commissioned.
You knew a GigaFactory was coming. Why build StarFactory that way?
@RyanHansenSpace I just want to see them shift and lift the OLM. I was amazed with what they did with the Brontosaurus Ribs. How they plan to move, lift and place the monster of the OLM is quite the two-pipe problem …
Could @DisneyPlus@Disney please explain to me why “It’s A Trap” (Family Guy, S09E18) is not available to stream on your Disney+ service in the UK, while “Blue Harvest” and “Something Something Dark Side” are fully available on this May 4th Star Wars Day?
@BillHuntBits I must admit to being underwhelmed when I saw it BITD. Visually it was stunning however with a great soundtrack and it would be a brilliant remastered 4k.
It’s sorta disappeared really and I’d certainly be interested in a reappraisal.
@TheCriticalDri2 Could not agree more. Brilliantly done, amazingly subtle animation and sound effects. Saw it at the ABC in Glasgow and it was stunning.
@Underdogsbiteup@LorraineAllans1 Well, yes. But to what purpose? I believe in Occam’s Razor … why would they seek to destroy the UK? Ignorance, ideology, arrogance, hubris, woke … okay, I get that. But to do such stupid destructive things … to what benefit?
@NASASpaceflight I don’t think we’ve ever had such clear recovery footage. From the WB-57 to the Drones swarming. And lovely to see a Pod of curious Dolphins welcome the humans back!
@dshensmith We need a DOGE in the UK and Europe.
So, turning up to lessons and learning increases academic outcomes? How many millions of pounds did that shattering insight cost us? Who profited from the research?
@DJSnM You would never put that much plutonium together that close. Even tasks like shipping plutonium had to be done in very specialised containers to minimise criticality risks.
It’s not an explosion risk as such, just a high risk of localised gamma bursts which will kill you.
@jrotcgeek1@esherifftv Doubtful according to official feeds - looks like a TE problem so still a quick recycle possible. Does not look like an issue with the rocket, capsule or GSE. But one never knows … space is hard.
@BillHuntBits@Pickfair A full clean up and restoration of Dr. No and From Russia With Love would be great. The Criterion laserdisc commentaries and making-ofs would be great to include if they could get the rights.
@BillHuntBits@Pickfair Isn’t the problem that the masters have deteriorated so much it becomes difficult and expensive to update, remaster and clean up?
Amazon has the money to do it. But they also have existing digital scans so it’s just down to will.
