This 18 year old senior HS baseball player volunteers to umpire.
The coach is complaining about walk up music for the kids on the other team. 🙄
The 18 year old tells him there is nothing wrong and let’s play ball. He tells the coach you can either go back to the dugout or go to your car. The coach continues on.
The umpire asks the kids- do you want to play baseball or watch the coach argue? All the kids say we want to play. 💯
The coach continues and the ump throws him out. Then the coach pulls his team off the field. They aren’t going to play. 🤯
This young umpire handled himself more as an adult than the coach did imho.
There is always one it seems who wants to make it more about themselves than about the kids. Only takes one.
Do you think the umpire handled it correctly? Would you be upset at your coach if he pulled your team off the field and forfeited?
Julia Stiles, at 17 years old, delivered the uninhibited table dance to “Hypnotize” in 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) that helped her land the lead role in Save the Last Dance (2001), convincing director Thomas Carter she had the rhythm needed to blend ballet and hip hop.
