Ferris rose to notoriety in the early 1980s, his name becoming synonymous with Glasgow’s most violent chapter of gangland history. His story took another turn in 1998 when he was convicted at the Old Bailey of conspiracy to deal in firearms and explosives.

But upon his release, Ferris walked away from the criminal underworld. Recasting himself as an author, he co-wrote #TheFerrisConspiracy with journalist #RegMcKay — a bestselling memoir that offered a rare inside account of Glasgow’s crime scene.

Now, decades later, Ferris is turning his attention to podcasting, a platform that blends the immediacy of conversation with the intimacy of storytelling.
