@ServiceOntario This has been an extremely frustrating process. It should NOT take 20+ weeks for a birth certificate. Sick of hearing there is a backlog excuse. We were efficient in registering (within 2 days), faxed you documents (why not email?) and was falsely promised a rush on our file

@ServiceOntario Been waiting since November 6th and need a passport for our newborn ASAP...faxed a letter and trip details and was still asked to wait another 4 weeks. Had 2 friends who also had babies recently (one in oct and one in nov.), and both received birth certificates within 4 weeks.
