Since working on @PHPSchoolTeam
I've been fascinated by terminal UIs and for the past few months in between a hectic life I've been working on a full TUI for PHP.

This really depends on your target market.
If it's people coming into tech fresh, just out of education then they can be instantly priced out, especially in countries where the $ doesn't convert well!
Top up or niche content may attract higher pricing imo
Isnโt it โinterestingโ how people complain when a programming course is $200+ but they expect to get a job in tech that pays some of the best salaries? ๐ค
Sure, there are $10 courses out there or you can even learn for free if you have the time and youโre disciplined enough.
But why complaining?
Let the creators ask as much as they feel they deserve for the amount of work that was put into it. ๐
One of my favourite features of our improved DX is the time we've spent on hand writing error messages.
100+ hand-written errors telling you likely (or exact) cause and solutions. Nothing is more frustrating than hitting an unexpected error, but this takes the sting out.
A focus on DX is at the core of some incredibly exciting changes coming to @PaddleHQ. Join me and the team on Aug 8th, 3pm UTC https://t.co/gYirhY5sdh.

Adding @phpstan has pushed me to make some API changes to improve the developer experience, a few more things to cross off there and I can shift focus onto more usable components ๐ค
I'd welcome ideas for components you'd like to see for a TUI.
@OndrejMirtes@aydin_h@phpstan@psalmphp Thanks @OndrejMirtes, we're hoping to get the return type in this example to drop the possibility of the other types in the array shape when the key is known. Generalising the scalar types is fine for my use case.
I can create an issue in GH if you think it needs it ๐
Spreading the word of our upcoming course on-campus at @TrentUni last week was great fun! As alumni, witnessing the excitement in students to try their hand at coding was a special moment ๐
