@GraemeKelly1@NotSlotaClue I think it’s giving everything a good go but looking like a capable side again if they don’t win again. Whilst I get the point of champions league qualification, we got in all other teams merits rather than our own. I also think the 20 defeats played against Slot.
@da9mo@GraemeKelly1 19 of 20 premier league clubs made a loss last financials though. Hence why they are careful. I agree fans want to see success on the pitch, but you have to be fair and say we’ve seen that the last 7 years. We can’t all spend like City.
@da9mo@GraemeKelly1 But there argument in negotiations will be that they will drop off eventually. Whether we like it or not it is a business decision.
@da9mo@GraemeKelly1 The club won’t see it as that though. Your contract is what you’ll do in that time at the club, not what you’ve done before. As harsh as it sounds. Club might feel for 2 more years he’s only worth 300k for example and if he wants 400/500 then of course they are far apart.
@da9mo@GraemeKelly1 But we don’t have a clue what they’ve been offered. I saw people the other week scoff at Mo wanted 500k a week. End of the day we don’t know what they want. Have to remember players have all the cards at this stage so of course they’re going to wait.
@BackseatsmanLFC @lfcexclusive_ @AnfieldSector@SeeingRedv2 Fair, must admit I am not fussed on selling the kids myself but there must be a feeling something is missing in some of them for the long term to a point. With Edwards, it seems like business decisions rather than football which we have to trust for now.
