Kier Starmer was visiting a very small village in the UK, and asked the villagers what the government could do for them.
"We have two big needs" said the village spokesman. "First, we have a health centre, but no doctor."
Starmer whipped out his mobile phone, spoke for a while and then said "I've sorted it out. A doctor will arrive here tomorrow. What is your other need then?"

@EM96929853 @theipaper @adamtomforrest I think the point is that these ladies feel betrayed, labour promised them compensation and have gone back on it. They now say they can't spare the money but if that's the case don't promise unless your sure you can deliver.
