Hopefully, Trump's victory will finally make Starmer acknowledge the utter folly of Brexit. It promised great trade deals with countries like the USA, China, and Russia.

Well, Russia is invading Ukraine. China is becoming increasingly aggressive and is likely to invade Taiwan, and the USA is likely to be turned into a Putinistan by its orange Führer who will soon shatter global trade with a bout of insane protectionism.

It is time for us to rejoin our democratic European neighbours and to abandon the geopolitical folly that is Brexit.
