#PeopleWithAlbinism are fully capable of anything. All they need is support, opportunities, & protection. @MiklahLife includes PWA in all her initiatives.
Today is the #InternationalAlbinismAwarenessDay & we congratulate all #PeopleWithAlbinism. People with albinism have full potential just like any other person. All they require is INCLUSION, an opportunity to work out their dreams. Visit https://t.co/1jiB3Rti2A & get involved.
People with #Albinism can look cute, handsome, attractive, & all things gorgeous just like anyone else out there. However, just like anyone among us, to look good, one has to intentionally take care of himself, isn't it? So, yeah, Albinism doesn't take away any beauty. Cheer up!
Yes, as an initiative focused on inclusion of #PeopleWithAlbinism in all programs of @MiklahLife, we are happy about the progress. We already shared how we supported other #PWA for #WordCamp Entebbe in March 2023. We're happy about this & we hope to keep it up. @nemvicx@SNUPA6.
We have had queens, people with disabilities who are in competitions for ms titles, including the already queen. They talked to us in sign language and someone was interpreting. I don't know how I missed the interpreter in the photo! So sorry! #CoffeeWithGobs.
People with Albinism are capable and can do great things. Please, if you are one, don't worry about anything. Get out, look into yourself. Find something to do and be great. Even the sky isn't the limit - Musician #Zagga. #CoffeeWithGobs. #MiklahforAlbinism. Great work.
Cultural leaders or herbalists team up with pro-albinism organisations to sensitize fellow herbalists regarding myths of PEOPLE with Albinism being source of riches! And, yeah, they took a photo showing how they easily understand and take #PWA as just any other persons
Taxes on sunscreen were relieved, even URA knows that! Also, there is an ongoing effort to have sunscreen on essential list of medicines so that Uganda Government should start buying them! @Olivenamutebi, @MiklahAlbinism, #CoffeeWithGobs. This is cool. And we can even do more.
Skin cancer among #PeopleWithAlbinism is preventable. All one requires to do is avail and use sunscreen appropriately. Make screening for a cancer a routine. Mr. Lutaro, now a salongo is a survivor of screen cancer. He didn't live in days of sunscreen, but we have them now.
