🇪🇪 Today we celebrate the blue, black and white that generations have carried with pride and defended with determination.
It represents our freedom, resilience and commitment to defend what matters most. EDF proudly serve under the colours of the Republic of Estonia.
Happy Estonian Flag Day! 🇪🇪
🇺🇦 🇺🇦 Expressed my deepest condolences to the Ukrainian people in light of Russia’s barbaric attacks on Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Chernihiv on June 2.
Latvia’s support for Ukraine is ironclad.
We #StandWithUkraine 💙💛
Putin said to all missions ‘leave Kyiv’.
Instead, all 32 NATO Ambassadors and the Secretary General visit Ukraine.
Our message is crystal clear: NATO’s support for Ukraine is unshaken
#StandWithUkraine 🇺🇦
Today we celebrate 142 years of the Estonian blue-black-white flag 🇪🇪— a symbol of our freedom, identity and resilience.
To mark the occasion, we raised a unique flag created from 1,136 photos by Estonian people, capturing the colours of our shared home.

In today's #vatniksoup, I'll introduce an American political scientist, John Mearsheimer. He's best-known for his theory of offensive realism, for his pandering to authoritarian regimes, and for ignoring sovereignty of independent countries.

Today, we celebrate 142 years of Estonia's beloved blue-black-white flag.
Marked with the traditional flag-raising ceremony at Pikk Hermann Tower, the day honours a symbol that ties together our past, present and future.

Really welcome news on the agreement reached between Ukraine and Hungary on the protection of minority rights.
This breakthrough removes an important obstacle on Ukraine's path to the European Union and creates long-awaited momentum for moving the accession process forward for both Ukraine and Moldova.
Both countries have demonstrated commitment to the reforms needed for EU membership. Now it is time for the EU to match that commitment.
Enlargement is not only about the future of candidate countries; it is an investment in the security, stability and prosperity of our entire continent.
Putin is in trouble. This is precisely the wrong moment to offer him a way out.
Keep calm and stay the course. Our strategy is working.
To those concerned about the risks posed by a losing aggressor, remember: aggression succeeding would be far more dangerous.
The last thing Europe should do is self-deter.
Ever since Putin’s 2022 blitzkrieg failed, his theory of victory has rested on a single assumption: that time was on its side, and that sooner or later the West would offer at the negotiating table what Moscow could not achieve on the battlefield.
Now, as that illusion fades, the Kremlin is escalating tensions with NATO in a last attempt to lure the West into a negotiation trap, fracture support for Ukraine, and divert us from our course.
We see this strategy for what it is. And our message remains: the only way to end the suffering is simple: end the aggression, withdraw behind Russia’s internationally recognized borders, and stay there.
📣 The Sopot Declaration adopted!
The Sopot Declaration sends a clear and unified message from all members of the Council of the Baltic Sea States on security in the region, continued support for Ukraine, and the need for a firm response to Russia’s hybrid activities.
It is particularly encouraging that the European Union, representing all its Member States, has also signed the document. 🇪🇺
Substance packed and very likeminded meeting in Sopot of CBSS Foreign Ministers, excellent highlight for summing up the Polish chairmanship and a high bar for the incoming Icelandic chairmanship. Thank you Polish MFA @MSZ_RP and @sikorskiradek for excellent leadership.
The Baltic Sea region countries have been among the strongest supporters of Ukraine and advocates of sustained pressure on Russia.
As Russia continues to escalate its aggression, we remain committed to increasing the cost of this war, as reaffirmed today at the ministerial session of the #CBSS in Sopot.
We also agreed on the need to strengthen deterrence and defence in the Baltic Sea region in response to growing security threats, including hybrid attacks, sabotage, GPS interference, and other destabilizing activities.
The joint German-Dutch command centre known as 1GNC will "assume a command role on NATO's eastern flank, specifically in the region Estonia and Latvia" in coming months. #EuropeNews https://t.co/5esziBlF45
We stand with our NATO Ally Romania and condemn this reckless incursion on its territory. Our thoughts are with the injured in Galati. We will defend every inch of NATO territory.
I condemn Russia’s drone attack on a residential building in Galați, #Romania. Russia’s escalation of its brutal war is unacceptable.
My thoughts are with those injured, and I wish them a quick recovery.
#Estonia stands firmly with Romania and the defence of every Ally.
