If you were living a century ago, you'd most likely be working on a farm or
in a factory. Only a few big dogs were needed at the top of the food chain.
and the rest were hired for labour, not brains.
GTA 6 – Jason and Brian
“They’ve got your full name, Jason. Jason Duval. They know exactly where you live.”
I’ve been wondering why Jason doesn’t seem to be paying Brian rent for the apartment, and what Brian’s real motivation is for letting him stay there in the first place. It feels like there’s more to that arrangement than we’ve been shown.
Something else that stood out to me in Trailer 2 is the warehouse scene. Brian tells Jason that the police already have his full name and home address. That line feels incredibly suspicious, almost like it’s hinting that Jason is already on law enforcement’s radar, or that someone close to him may have exposed him. It seems too deliberate to be just casual dialogue, and I can’t shake the feeling that it’s foreshadowing something much bigger.
NPC Driver Behavior
One feature I'd really love to see in GTA VI is a much wider range of driving personalities among NPCs. Instead of everyone following the same basic AI patterns, it would make the roads feel far more believable if different drivers behaved according to their personalities or circumstances.
Imagine encountering impatient tailgaters weaving through traffic, overly cautious elderly drivers cruising well below the speed limit, distracted motorists who miss turns or brake unexpectedly, reckless wealthy drivers speeding through the city without a care, or impaired drivers whose erratic behavior makes them a danger to everyone around them. Seeing these different driving styles interact with one another and with the player could lead to countless dynamic and unpredictable moments.
A system like this would make every trip across Leonida feel unique, turning ordinary drives into memorable experiences without relying on scripted events.
The level of detail packed into this single screenshot is absolutely insane.
You’ve got incredibly realistic skin textures that show the effects of tanning, a guy casually taking a leak in the bushes, what looks like a gold digger hanging out with an older man, and a woman walking around with an iguana wearing clothes, just calmly perched on her shoulder. If even half of these environmental details make it into the actual gameplay, GTA 6 has a real chance to set a new benchmark for open-world games and become the GOAT.
Genuine question: why is everyone so focused on getting a Trailer 3 when GTA VI is only four months away and most of us already know we’re buying the game anyway?
At this point, I honestly think Rockstar skips a third cinematic trailer altogether. My guess is that the next major video will be a gameplay showcase, followed by the launch trailer a week or two before release.
Wouldn’t that be enough?
Earlier in the marketing cycle, I completely understood the demand for Trailer 2. We still had a long wait ahead of us, and every new trailer gave us something fresh to analyze, discuss, and speculate about. It wasn’t just advertising it was new GTA VI content to experience while counting down to launch.
Now, though, we’re only four months away. We already know we’re almost certainly getting gameplay footage this fall, along with a launch trailer shortly before release. Personally, that’s all I really need.
I also feel like if Rockstar had plans for a Trailer 3, we probably would have seen it by now. At this stage, it makes more sense for them to shift their marketing toward showing actual gameplay and preparing for launch rather than releasing another cinematic trailer.
I just went back and played red dead 2 again and the game still holds up almost 8 years later. It could release today and nobody would think it was an 8 year old game.
Will Lucia be able to buy weapons at Ammu-Nation?
In GTA 5, there’s a moment where Lamar and Stretch aren’t able to purchase weapons from Ammu-Nation because of their criminal records. Since Lucia has just been released from prison in GTA 6, it makes me wonder if she’ll face similar restrictions. Will she still be able to walk into Ammu-Nation and buy weapons, or will Rockstar introduce a different way for her to acquire firearms?
Rockstar clearly isn’t messing around with physics this time. Just take a look at the lighting and apparent weight of this power line.
Focus on the main overhead cable running to the corner of the roof. The lighting system appears to recognize its actual thickness, with sunlight hitting the top while the underside remains naturally shaded. It’s a small detail, but it adds a surprising amount of realism.
In GTA V, power lines were essentially flat, non-interactive 2D elements—you could fly a helicopter straight through them without any collision. These, however, look like fully modeled, physically simulated cables made up of independent segments connected throughout the neighborhood.
So what do you think? Are we seeing a genuinely interactive environmental physics system, or is this simply a huge leap in material rendering and lighting?
And if these cables really are physical… could a low-flying helicopter actually get caught on power lines this time?
Rockstar’s version of Nike?
In a few of the screenshots, there’s a logo that looks a lot like Nike’s. I’m guessing it’s just Rockstar’s fictional in-game sportswear brand rather than the real thing. Was this brand already in GTA V, or is it something new for GTA VI?
Steve is Cal.
For anyone who didn't already notice, the resemblance is actually ridiculous. They practically lifted the character straight off the wiki page and dropped him into GTA VI.
From the hairstyle and glasses to the mustache, facial features, clothing style, and overall vibe, Cal Hampton looks almost identical to Steve. At this point, it feels less like inspiration and more like a direct copy-paste into the game world.
Rockstar clearly saw the formula and thought, "Yep, that's our guy." 😭💀
RDR vs RDR2 - NPC Comparison 🔥
“How much did the NPCs evolved from Red Dead Redemption (2010) to Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018)?
Now just imagine how much further they’ve pushed the tech for GTA VI
