@RydzikR74631@DemocraticWins In my opinion Trump is doing poorly with the economy and the biggest thing that is the cause of it is are the tariffs he put into place! That's his biggest mistake.
BREAKING: Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and Marco Rubio get caught stealing homes specifically intended for military officials — resulting in a housing shortage for those who actually serve in uniform.
Imagine for a second if Obama officials had done this...
According to The Atlantic, at least six Trump administration appointees have moved into military housing in the Washington D.C. area. While some claim to be doing it for "security" purposes, it appears that the real goal is to shield them from protestors as the country turns decisively against their failed fascist policies.
Miller and the rest can now rely on military protection in addition to their personal security, a dangerous precedent that insulates them from their own actions and encourages them to become even more authoritarian.
What's more, this housing was intended for military officials who actually serve this country, not corrupt MAGA hatchet men and women. The Atlantic reports that this trend is "straining the availability of housing for the nation’s top uniformed officers."
"Administration officials now find themselves vying for the largest houses, not unlike the behind-the-scenes maneuvering that has long played out among senior military officers," Michael Scherer writes for The Atlantic, painting a picture of the kind of grubby, petty maneuvering that we've come to expect from this regime.
Noem seized the house intended for the Coast Guard commandant while Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio now laughably reside on "Generals' Row" at Fort McNair. Before moving in, Hegseth wasted $137,000 of tax payer money on "repairs and upgrades" for the house.
"In a robust democracy, what you want is the military to be for the defense of the country as a whole and not just one party,” Adria Lawrence, associate professor of international studies and political science at John Hopkins University, told The Atlantic.
This scandal is unfortunately exactly the kind of disrespect for our military that we've come to expect from this administration. Soldiers are going without pay because of the MAGA shutdown, Pete Hegseth flew all of our admiral and generals in just to rant at them about beards and "wokeness," and Trump himself is a draft-dodging coward who mocked POWs.
Please retweet and ❤️ to demand that these Trump officials be evicted!
@EdKrassen I still say Trump is working for Putin. If the republicans don't wake up and go back to their old ways of governing soon, we won't have a country.
