@DjokerNole@QatarTennis If you need to win Slams, your be got to win 5-6 matches in a row in the lead up to slams, where you need 7 matches, best of 5. So pl enter tourneys to go the distance, not to get practice for a bigger tournament. In this way, you will neither win smaller titles, nor Slams.
@ballondor How does it matter if the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, is not even on a 30 player shortlist? He’s won the Copa and Supporters Shield and has been a great leader with Argentina and Inter Miami.
The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see.
Provided the visual cortex is intact, it will even enable those who have been blind from birth to see for the first time.
To set expectations correctly, the vision will be at first be low resolution, like Atari graphics, but eventually it has the potential be better than natural vision and enable you to see in infrared, ultraviolet or even radar wavelengths, like Geordi La Forge.
Much appreciated, @US_FDA!
@RehanLarik@djokerprime He is the greatest tennis player in history. While there are other greats too and you might even argue they are greater, there’s just no way you can say a player with an unmatched record in history is a fraud!
@Crank_n_Pedal@djokerprime Yes, AFTER he turned 30. Federer was around till 2022 and Nadal has yet not retired, while young guns have also come up 2017 onwards. Would have been on 26/27 if he’d been allowed to play US Open and Aus Open during Covid. Plus the DQ in US Open in 2020, which Thiem won.
@sardesairajdeep I believe Hardik is looked upon as an opportunist and the MI management team as one who’ve given in to an opportunist’s demands. The fans are predictably angry and hurt. Hopefully, this passes with time… and MI returning to winning ways!
@fasc1nate After astronomical calculations and a 3-year wait for the right moment, photographer Leonardo Sens took this great photo.
It took 3year of patience.
DO YOU THINK ITS WORTH IT?

Gael Monfils shares 3 lessons he learned from Elina Svitolina:
“Three lessons from my wife Elina.”
“When I started this blog, I said that I’d try not to be a giver of lessons. But I’m definitely a taker of lessons. I think part of what’s gotten me to where I am is the belief that everyone has something to teach me, so I want to share some of the things I’ve picked up from people I know or just admire, which in the case of my wife Elina checks both those boxes. 😉”
1. There’s so much value in taking a stance.
“It’s tempting to always take the middle ground & stay neutral, not risk offending anyone. And in many cases, that can be the wise thing to do. But sometimes, when it really matters to you, taking a strong position is the most powerful thing you can do, if only for yourself. Standing firm for what you believe definitely opens you up to criticism, but in the end, it gives you a sense of integrity & alignment with oneself. That’s a lesson in courage that I admire so much.”
2. Separate your struggles from your self.
“From motherhood, to our respective comebacks, to the pressures of public life, to her deeply personal connection to the situation in Ukraine, Elina’s shown me the art of compartmentalizing without over-identifying. Her ability to keep a clear head in the chaos is amazing. One way I try to apply this to my own life is by not taking anything personally. If someone criticizes my game, or writes something rude about me online, I remind myself it’s not about me. It’s so simple, but it helps take the sting out of a stressful situation.”
3. Responsibility can be as rewarding as it is risky
“Especially during my long recovery & in the first year of life with our daughter, Elina showed me that ‘slowing down’ does not mean ‘skipping.’ I realized that when you do a task with enough attention, even the most boring things, such as household chores, become enjoyable. As a player, husband & father, I have come to the conclusion that being responsible is not only important, but also very cool 😃.”
Learning & loving. 🥹
