I have been raising the same question. In my case, my vote was in Mumbai, then Delhi. I wanted to transfer it to Uttar Pradesh. Mumbai’s vote got cut in SIR Maharashtra, I filled forms in UP in July 2026, after SIR in state was done in April because I wasn’t around in UP at the time. Form still not uploaded by BLA who said “portal hasn’t opened yet, many forms remaining.” My old EPIC is now invalid. Local BLO in UP told me to fill form 6, according to which I am a new voter now, after voting in Mumbai and Delhi for years. And, it is also asking me to fill my parents details to check if they were in the SIR in 2002. And … ECINET is a nightmare!

Something very interesting is playing out in the Goa bench of the Bombay High Court. It's hearing a petition by six members of one family, marked "shifted" and deleted from the draft roll during the SIR. When they filed Form 8, for change of address within the same constituency, the system found no EPIC to process it against. The only option on the officer's screen was "reject."

The bench: "Your officers were helpless, and they just decided to throw it on the system." And: "lakhs will go off the rolls."

Our investigation asked that Q about the ECINet software last week. Goa had 97 answers.

As per my information, @abhijeet_dipke has not been detained by Mumbai police. Call for the protest in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park remains active. Dipke, Ashutosh, Saurav, Ratna and Afreen Mumbai spokies Siddhant, Actor Shabana Azmi and CJP supporters will begin the protests from Mumbai at 4 PM tomorrow. Mumbai police hasn’t given the required permission to protest in Shivaji Park yet. @Cockroachisback

Our Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate in Jeddah have been following the health condition of Mr Smit Machchhar, the brave Indian pilot of Flydubai flight that was diverted to Tabuk today. He is admitted in a hospital in Tabuk city in northwest Saudi Arabia and receiving necessary medical attention. A full update on his health is awaited but he is reported to be in stable condition. We hope that he recovers from his injuries at the earliest. We are in touch with his family and assure them that we will continue to follow up on his health with Saudi authorities and extend all possible assistance for his wellbeing.

The fact that I was a part of AAP is an old news. And while I do understand why me donating to AAP last year makes up for a good click bait headline, what I don’t understand is why my address and PAN Card details were publicly shared.
