@secretclubprov just had to share this… first time we’ve had to issue one of our Seniors a new Member card as “it had a fight with the dog” 🙄😂

[Mile End Golf Club @MileEndGolfClub]

@NCG_com @SteveCarrollNCG We obtained permission to extend into May from SHUGC before the end of April.. Wuick decision & no issues…😁 #summerscoming

@JGidney @nickffsj @mandy_ambert Not sure what’s going on with the deleted tweet but we are well and truly open for business….😃

[Mile End Golf Club @MileEndGolfClub]

@Beeboy0138 @SteveCarrollNCG @NCG_com Our experience is that there have been no “high” scores winning individual events but now courses have been “shortened” for winter play the lack of opportunity to submit acceptable cards might start to affect this as newer golfers improve faster than their index reduces…🤔

[Mile End Golf Club @MileEndGolfClub]

@SteveCarrollNCG England Golf explain that these allowances ensure the “integrity” of the system but golfers (new & old) simply aren’t bothered about this….. they just see it as over-complication…. That’s our experience anyway..

[Mile End Golf Club @MileEndGolfClub]

@SteveCarrollNCG No matter how much EG and WHS mathematicians insist the data leads to these allowances, golfers at grass roots level simply think it is ridiculous when the slope rating gives them “extra” shots that are immediately taken away by the 95%… “what’s the point of that” they all say

@Winaldinho @James_Robbo_PGA @secretclubprov We have been looking for someone to do this….. you would be welcome here if it helps build your portfolio. Good Luck 👍🏻

@StuMcC76 @NCG_com @SteveCarrollNCG Same with Wales. We have encountered all sorts of “cross border” issues.

[Mile End Golf Club @MileEndGolfClub]

@SteveCarrollNCG For purpose of completing a correct scorecard according to The Rules it is vital that the “Course Handicap” is on the card, not just Index or Playing Hcap...
