I corrected a popular mistranslation of the infamous "Sonic hates oppression" quote, which when properly translated says "hates anything crooked". Apparently me fact checking this means I actually support oppression and dictatorships.
@CDR_Jynx@WildComputers The game is stupid and will make Your private game public if You accidentally throw a SOS Beacon. And it's VERY easy to throw it by accident, because it's a single input different from Reinforcement beacon
2 years later they did nothing about this
@PLTytus Depends on how strict that roleplay is gonna be. Just a little bit of it that just rewards You for playing a desired role, but not FORCING You to completely stick to it would be alright (e.g. being a CEO bodyguard, getting additional rewards for killing enemies that attack CEO)
As you know, I was removed from the SEGA creator program due to "safety". After what's happened, I've been thinking... "do I just say nothing?" "do I let them silence me?" "do I 'pretend' I'm just fine?" SEGA is allowing this - mainly because of the numbers. No matter the numbers, this is wrong! The irony with these posts is just ridiculous. I am speaking about this since I've been sitting back and watching all this unfold. Where it all began was a post from a minor on this site and MY post (YouTube short) was spread and caused people to start fuming on me. They never knew me to begin with but because of this sole video, everything is different. I never spoke about this whole thing for no reason - I spoke about it because of what I was feeling in the Sonic community. People were telling me how to behave, and I have no say so. I felt uncomfortable. So I had to eventually say something. Should I continue supporting something like this? If I do, I at least have to speak the truth. I can't just allow this to happen.
@Lucas7yoshi_RS I wish the non-Longfin/Kosatka approaches were more rewarding. Choosing any other approach is essentially just making Your life harder on top of the concrete bushes, RDR2 vegetation that kills performance, and guards with magic hearing. But they indeed are more fun
@PLTytus Funniest thing is that initially in 2019-2020 this was not happening - I've been safely doing completing the mantrap with 60+ FPS without a single disconnect. I wonder how they broke that
@IKickDogs911@GreenTextRepost No. Nerfs are Necessary sometimes. If something is Way to overpowered that it becomes overbearing, the thing of "just don't use it lol" Doesn't fix the problem. It will always be there, Cheapening the experience overall. 1/2
@GreenTextRepost Properly balanced game is not a bad thing. There's no incentive to use 50 other cars in a racing game if a starter shitbox is just as good as the endgame cars. And the "bruh just don't use it then" argument doesn't work. You can just not play the game at all then.
Fun car history fact!
Before 1985, most cars on the market outside of Chevrolets simply did not have the ground clearance for a row of light bulbs.
To rectify this problem, they eventually started putting them on poles that hung above the road!
