@LuckiiTucky Similar feeling I get with the 'praise' for fan games where the player can just jump boost over 95% of the level and call it peak level design. People really think speedrunning is the default intended experience now instead of a niche hobby.

@KingEphemera Realistically, this would have been a mock-up trailer as concept art or for investors/events. It's unlikely that any substantial world design had been underway at that point.
I'm curious how many were decided on that early, though.

Picked up this (used) collector's edition of the blu-ray for the animated movie "Ernest et Célestine"
