@Mirandalorians If turn-based isn't for you, and you can't get into it even after trying it, I would recommend just watching someone's playthrough of the game. It's very much a 'watchable' game.

@arttforlife @RinoTheBouncer It's hard to make a perfect representation of the original game, considering that when FF7 came out it was literally groundbreaking. It was for JRPGs what Half-Life 2 would be for single-player FPS games. But there are still a lot of things the remakes do really well.

@konoyatsu @Dreamboum I personally think I wouldn't enjoy the primary gameplay elements, but I loved the designs and the story. Dressing Zephyr and Leanne up would have been my favorite part if I played it. The clothes just look so cool.

@RisingBlur @Dreamboum It's possible, but RoF is known for being very hard. it doesn't really teach you the meta. That said, its story is good, great VAs, and the art direction is incredible. You can dress the characters up, and my god, some of Leanne's coat and dress combos are just awesome.
