🚨🎙️| Jamie Carragher on Kai Havertz’s tackle on Ugochukwu:
“I’m sorry but this is embarrassing. How on earth is that not a red card? We’ve seen players sent off for far less. It honestly looks like Arsenal have bought the refs and VAR because there is absolutely no way Havertz stays on the pitch after that tackle.
And people want to tell me this team deserves the league? Is this how Arsenal are planning to win it, with decisions going their way and cheating their way through crucial moments? If that happened against Arsenal, their fans would be crying corruption for weeks.”
Oww look, a clear red card on Havertz not given by the referee stood 5 yards away or the VAR 😂 yet more clear evidence that the PGMOL and FA are picking their winners and that this league is corrupt to the core. #PL#ARSBUR
What a fucking shock. PGMOL and Webb have decided to ignore the rules of football and say Mbuemo did handle the ball deliberately and goal should not have stood. Absolutely making it up as they go along for us!!
Just a reminder Benjamin Sesko was hurt after being shoved off the pitch by Ibrahima Konaté. He hasn't played since & misses the rest of the season because of it.
Great job Darren England, who gave an identical foul by Mainoo on Frimpong in the same game.
Did Howard Webb’s PGMOL apologise when similar goals were allowed to stand?
I agree it was a handball. I wouldn’t have cried even if it was ruled out, but why the different treatment when it went in United’s favour for once?
They don’t need to favour United. All we ask for is the same treatment.
@FA_PGMOL@SkySportsPL Officials continually making it up as they go along. Time to boycott @premierleague. It's now a lottery based on what official refs what game and what mood VAR officials are in on any given day.
VAR is a problem but the bigger problem in England is the officials. They make unfathomably bad decisions and they’ve made another by letting Havertz off the hook.
