Posting our last question early because Fri-yay! We have amazing #EdTech coaches in our schools (and thank you to them for helping with this chat! @MrsCoomes@caradeaton@TechCincy) so for Q5, how can they help YOU? #MilfordPLC
A4: We love a good @Kahoot, and repeating said kahoot multiple times 😜 We also enjoy @Flocabulary! Looking forward to our Week in Rap tomorrow! #MilfordPLC
A2: A favorite of my students is Flashlight Friday! Ss bring blankets, stuffed animals, and flashlights. We turn off the lights and read by the (YouTube) fire with our flashlights. #MilfordPLC
A3: I’m embarrassed to admit that more than once I have forgotten to add “name” in Google Form for a class assignment. That was fun to tell the students that they had to complete the assignment again. #MilfordPLC
I suppose anytime the internet isn’t working (🤦🏼♀️) is a tech fail, but there are other times when *nothing* goes as planned! Share with us a fail and what you learned in Q3 today! #MilfordPLC
A1: I currently teach 5th ELA @bes_elementary. I LOVE @canva! I use it to create so many things for my classroom…from name tags to presentations. This year my students used Canva for a research project and I was blown away at their work! #MilfordPLC
We need to shift the conversation from differentiation to personalization. Differentiation often involves lower expectations and modifications. Personalization provides access to success through tailored instruction and ownership.
The irony of tech issues during an #EdTech chat…which means we will use it as inspiration! What’s the most frustrating part of tech in the classroom? #MilfordPLC
Poll number 3! How often are you using tech to support your teaching? #MilfordPLC#EdTech (and if you’ve been teaching awhile, interesting to reflect on what your use looks like today vs. “back then”!)
