Update: fire is holding at 3,000 acres with 0% containment. Fallbrook gate is closed to all traffic except for emergency vehicles. PMO is guiding traffic away from fire.
Camp Pendleton has issued a mandatory evacuation order for the DeLuz Housing, Wounded Warrior Battalion, and Lake O'Niel Campground areas due to a fire near Naval Weapons Station - Fallbrook. Affected personnel are to relocate to Paige Fieldhouse. More information to follow.
I’m sorry I haven’t updated anyone at all on here. But our sweet boy has reached the end of the road & his little body isn’t going to be able to work much longer. Pls keep us in your prayers & send lots of love through this tough time. He’s our 🌎 & we’re not ready to lose him.

You don’t know real love until you’ve wiped the tears from his eyes, waited out those long sleepless nights for month all for one kiss, replayed saved voicemails over and over again, stalked your mailman in hopes of getting a letter.
Someday will be good. We will have fun. We won’t miss them quite as much. Other days will be hard. There will be a lot of tears. Homecoming will feel so far away.
