๐คกRu sources: Ukrainian air defense is about to collapse! Game over!
24 hours later...
๐ญSo Ukrainians just shot down our A-50 and Il-22 aircrafts
What a bunch of clowns ๐คฃ
I think maybe the Bradleys were just on the usual and daily mission to spray the tree lines near the railway and quickly return so maybe they weren't prepared to use TOW? or maybe the buildings made it difficult to target the tank so they opted to maneuver around it. Nevertheless it was quite impressive battle, the Russian tank crew was clearly outplayed here.
Avdiivka front. Identified equipment losses of the Russia Army are getting close to 500! If Robotyne was a failure what the hell are we going to call this? Success? ๐คฃ
#Avdiivka offensive equipment loss numbers as of 12 January 2024.
In summary: 488 RU losses vs. 37 UA losses
I am now including losses from the nearby Donetsk Raion, hence the increase in artillery losses.
28 of the added Russian Losses are from Donetsk Raion; the increase in losses for Pokrovsk Raion since last update is 19.

I am so thankful that YouTube's algorithm decided to recommend me this gem today...(gets better towards the end)
Not gonna lie this is truly what peak reporting looks like from the ๐ท๐บRusso-neutral perspective, why bother watching several channels on each side of the view?
I'm extremely tempted to share this with my YouTube audience as well but don't want to get into any copyright trouble. Imagine how would they would react seeing this after a few weeks of no updates ๐ค
tbh this sounds more like an indian accent while DPA has a bit of chinese/asian accent which is okay, I don't really follow anyone these days simply because lack of time but yeah I agree I also found his channel like a week or two after the war started and back then his mapping was quite accurate.
@DrJamesFord well tbf huge channels who like to call themselves neural "predicted" the immediate fall of Chasiv Yar, Kramatorsk and Slovyansk right after Bakhmut fell so this guy is being quite modest in his claims.
@Peterbruh7 sorry I was on a short break, I am fixing my messed up map from scratch and will try do an update as soon as possible, I wrote about this on Yt community tab yesterday.
are we really going back to WW1/WW2, maybe Napoleon campaigns? come on, this time last year Russia's offensive in Bakhmut was in full swing. There are extensive systems of paved roads, highways and railways that go through Donetsk which is a massive city very close to Avdiivka...yet not any large progress. Of course the winter does play a role but you can't really draw parallels to the past wars, if it is hard for Russians to advance then so is for Ukrainians to defend and push them back, weather doesn't discriminate or does it?
โ๏ธ๐ท๐บRussia's winter offensive a massive failure so far?
After 3 months it seems that Russia's winter offensive is showing the first clear signs of stagnation, fatigue and we can say that at least temporarily has run out of steam.
No significant advances from the Russian side for the past 2-3 weeks, while as many Russian sources on telegram admit, Ukrainians have begun to push them back in Kupyansk and Robotyne fronts after ousting them from the outskirts of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk front during the previous week.
In contrast, Ukraine's summer offensive which took place during June-September (approx. 4 months) in 2023 was considered a huge failure by the Russian and Russo-neutral sources but on the other hand after 3 months of full-scale offensive the Russians haven't completed their goal of taking Avdiivka yet and the territorial gains made all over the frontline are roughly no more than 30-40% of those made by Ukraine during 4 months of their offensive in summer 2023.
How is Ukraine's offensive a huge failure but the Russian offensive so far is being considered a success?
*Image from a pro-Russian telegram channel. Today many sources are reporting that Russians were pushed back in Kupyansk front and south of Robotyne.
Previously Russian forces were repelled near Novomykhailivka and Terny.
@DrJamesFord@AndrewPerpetua it is quite obvious Russia has lost way more equipment in Avdiivka but they also do have more resources and they simply do not care about their men so they constantly feed the meatgrinder hoping that they can find some cracks in the Ukrainian defense which they can exploit ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Significant gains in Kynky? Ukrainians control a few hundred meters there for months so how large is this significant Russian advance there? 2cm per day? No, latest reports including from Russian sources say that Russians are being pushed back in Robotyne and they were pushed back from Novomykhailivka as well. Ukraine actually took Krynky without wasting much troops it was a surprise operation, they do have losses but so do Russians. Keep living in your parallel universe, Russia has already colonized ten galaxies there it is very cozy.
