Commander Maroof was killed
According to reports, a number of individuals associated with what is described as “evil and corruption” were attempting to move from the #Chitral area, which is under #Pakistani control, towards #Badakhshan under the leadership of Commander #Maroof .
They reportedly came under an ambush by the #Mujahideen .
As a result of the ambush, Commander Maroof was critically wounded and later died from his injuries at a #hospital in #Pakistan .
It is worth mentioning that Commander Maroof was a controversial commander of the Arbaki forces during the previous republic and was accused of involvement in the killing of several #civilians .
The statement further claims that Commander Maroof had recently established a base in Chitral with support from the Pakistani military and #intelligence services, where he was trained.
It alleges that he was appointed leader of a group of 250 #fighters and was sent back, but was targeted before reaching his destination.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman once again reminded the Pakistan Army of what he described as its #shameful history.
Responding to a #journalist 's question about the military's claim that #Indian_media were using his recent remarks against Pakistan, he said:
When your #soldiers were surrendering in #Bengal , and even their trousers were being taken off, what message were you have been sending to #India at that time?
It is the military that should feel ashamed of such a history.
🚨Important 🇵🇰
This is Balochistan, where #women , #children , and young people have borne the brunt of ongoing violence.
Young people face enforced disappearances at #night and deadly shootings during the day.
Opportunities for work are scarce, and the space for peaceful protest is severely restricted.
Many people live under what critics describe as a coercive and authoritarian #military system.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman says that Trump patted Field Marshal #Asim_Munir on the back and praised him, calling him a “good man.” He said that when he had used #Pakistan’s flags to move his #ships and achieved his purpose, he then forgot Pakistan.
He further said that #America has always used Pakistan as “toilet paper” and continues to use it in the same #manner .
Due to attacks on public roads in Balochistan, the Pakistani military has reportedly begun avoiding major highways and using more difficult routes, as travel on public roads has become increasingly risky following what critics describe as the failure of Operation Shaban.
The Baloch Liberation Army (Jeeyand) has released video footage documenting an assault conducted by BLA combatants on a security checkpoint in the #Ziarat district on June 28.

🚨Important 🇵🇰
Recent unrest and #economic difficulties have left Pakistan’s military #establishment deeply concerned.
A journalist asked #Khawaja_Asif : “In the country, neither judges, soldiers, nor ordinary citizens are safe; in which direction is this country heading?”
Instead of answering the question, #Khawaja_Asif closed the door of his vehicle and avoided responding to the #journalist .
🚨Important 🇵🇰
There is no longer any possibility of the army maintaining control over the people of #Balochistan , because now even a five-year-old child in Balochistan throws stones at #army vehicles and #kicks their tires according to his or her ability.
This is because they believe that these very people are their #enemies ; they say that their homes have been destroyed, their #fathers have gone missing, and their #mothers have been left helpless — all of this, they claim, has happened because of the #army .
