@4FAngusBoy I also know that breeders can tweak numbers to make ratios look how they want so it is also important to develop a relationship and trust in what the breeder is reporting

@4FAngusBoy I like to see dam’s average ratios. This will tell me if she consistently has average birth weight, above average ww, and and yw can point toward mature frame size. Also list a number of calves at each ratio can tell how many of her calves have been retained until yearling

Interesting piece on display at my local museum. 90 year precipitation record, 1880-1969. In 2016 we had around 30”. In 2017 we had about 5”. Don’t see either of those extremes on here...

@DataDrivenAg No updates. Drop #2 scheduled next year. Fresno Dam rebuild shortly after. 2017 was shortest supply in 15 yrs, 2018 was best supply in years (plus bonus flood water in April 😔)
