@dremilyportermd@orlandov426 I get the same when I introduce myself as the surgical doctor. "when are we going to see the surgeon/doctor?". Hi, that's me, we've met.
Our cinnamon swirls this morning were sorely lacking in cinnamon @JusRolUKIreland - no pot of cinnamon preparation (which btw, why have you separated??)!
When looking for football shirts for my daughter, why must websites perpetuate these old fashioned gender stereotypes? @uksoccershop shame on you, especially given the success of the women's football team vs the men's!
I realised looking through my page, I hadn't posted this update - @KarinaSLarsen and I completed the Newcastle 2023 @raceforlife 10k in a very respectable 1h22, and raised an incredible £745 (+ Gift Aid)! Thank you to everyone for your support and donations ❤️
In memory of our beloved Mormor (grandmother), @KarinaSLarsen and I are running the 10k @raceforlife in Newcastle. Please consider donating to our pages or direct to Princess Alice Hospice in her name, Anne Vivi Edwards. All links found at https://t.co/k5n0N0jjbK #CancerResearch
As @RoshanaMN says: it's not Imposter Syndrome, it's an absence of psychological safety.
Fix the system, not the women. Offer your trainees the psychological safety, to ask the questions they need, to be able to trust you and share with you.

"we don't need to fix ourselves" @RoshanaMN speaking on Returning to Work into Surgical Training. The difference a supportive environment makes on the person (in my case new mum) returning to work. @WomenSurgeonsUK@RCSnews. The lack of support I received pushed me into burnout.
It was so drummed into me that I was suffering from Imposter Syndrome when I came back to work from maternity leave into the second wave of covid. The SuppoRRT programme wasn't running at that time due to covid. @WomenSurgeonsUK@RoshanaMN

It was so important to pit in definitions to our survey
So that we were ABSOLUTELY clear what we were talking about
There is no confusion between standing close to someone whilst scrubbed to gain access to the patient versus standing close whilst operating to gain access to you
This is the coolest title ever!
‘UK Defence Professor of Surgery’
Linda Orr is the first ever woman in the role. What a lovely lecture on Compassionate Leadership @RCSnews@WomenSurgeonsUK
@MillaLarsen Sorry to hear that, Camilla. We can appreciate your frustrations in regards to this and this will be looked at back at the depot this evening - Mike
I've been informed by other passengers (after the seat next to my new seat started getting dripped on) that the entire @AvantiWestCoast train has sprung a leak. Privatisation for you, eh.
Faulty train @AvantiWestCoast! I'm on the 14.03 Carlisle to Glasgow train and you have a water leak from the ceiling! The seats 35 to 44 in Carriage E as well as some others on the other side are damp - I've had to move from my reserved seat as a result. Shocking!
Today, my sister and I are running a 10k @raceforlife in Newcastle. Anyone who knows us knows that we are not runners, but we're doing it for a worthy cause - to raise money for @CRUKresearch. If anyone would like to make a last minute donation: https://t.co/0Yh6eQEn1Q
