To @riotgames, @arcaneshow, and @Fortnite.
I’m writing this on behalf of a huge number of players who are still hoping to see the Arcane Jinx and Vi skins return to the Fortnite Item Shop. Even if the chances are low, these skins meant a lot to both Fortnite and Arcane fans alike, and many missed the "limited-time" window to collect them.
Since their original release, the community has been incredibly vocal on Twitter, continuously pushing for the return of these skins. We have used hashtags like #BringBackArcaneToTheitemShop to express the desire to see Jinx and Vi along with their other cosmetics return to the Item Shop. Other users have posted about them and tagged both Epic Games and Riot Games in their tweets, consistently showing their support. The enthusiasm on Twitter, whether through mega-threads or simply asking for a re-release, proves that these skins are highly desired and that the community remains passionate about the collaboration and its return.
The Arcane crossover was one of the best Fortnite has ever seen and is one of the most desired cosmetic sets Fortnite has ever had. And even years after their original release, the demand for their return hasn’t slowed down. TikTok posts, YouTube videos, Reddit threads, and especially Twitter posts still feature players asking, "When will Jinx and Vi return?". It’s rare for any cosmetic in Fortnite to generate this level of interest.
@MarcMerrill has been a source of hope for the community, providing information that keeps the excitement alive. His efforts in engaging with the community about the skins' return have kept hopes high and encouraged ongoing discussions. His transparency and willingness to respond to the community's requests have been much appreciated by the community, and many including myself are hopeful that his continued support will lead to a favorable outcome, even after the recent bad news.
Given the success of Arcane season 2, and the soon release of 2XKO, now (or at least soon), would be the ideal time to bring back these skins. Re-releasing them not only builds more hype for your upcoming game, but serves the dedicated fans who missed the original release but also introduces these beloved characters to a whole new generation of players who may have joined the Fortnite community since their last release back in late 2020 / early 2021.
Please consider it. We’d love to see this collaboration return, and so would thousands of players across the world.
If you are someone who would like to see Arcane return to Fortnite, a simple like or retweet will help a lot.
