The Township is aware of and working with JCPL to restore power to the community.

Approximate restoration times are unknown. We are working on getting water/ice distribution.

The Mall at Short Hills is open until 6pm today if residents need a cooling center.

Generators can be helpful when the power goes out.

-Generators and fuel should always be used outdoors
-Keep the generator dry
-Use heavy-duty extension cords.
-Let the generator cool before refueling.
-Follow manufacturer’s instructions carefully.

Be advised, due to the heat advisories in effect for this week, Giordano Co. will be conducting waste collection services earlier in the day to ensure the safety of their crews.

Please place garbage and recycling bins at the curb the night prior to your collection day.
