Today, Platoon 2 of the Millburn Fire Department participated in a functional drill to assess preparation for mass decontamination.
The drill was conducted by the Essex County health department and Nutley hazmat to assess our abilities with the Essex county mass decon teams.
Be advised, due to the annual 4-Miler race on Sunday, June 7, there will be a hard closure on White Oak Ridge Road from Briarwood Dr. to Parsonage Hill Rd. and soft closures on Hartshorn Dr. and Briarwood Dr. from 9 AM until 10:30 AM.
Essex County is hosting a Paper Shredding Day tomorrow, Saturday, June 6 from 8:30 am to Noon at the Essex County Public Works Department, 99 W. Bradford Ave., Cedar Grove, NJ.
This event is FREE to all Essex County Residents!
Be advised, starting at approximately 9:45 AM, Millburn Police Officers will be taking part in the annual torch run this morning from Millburn Ave. to Vauxhall Rd. to Summit just across the broad street bridge.
