@AnonymousAT2 It starts with AT leadership. We still have experienced ATs saying new grads & YPs have to “pay their dues”. And we have excuses made for the head ATs at such institutions. It’s on us to fix the problem we’ve enabled for decade. Accountability is needed.

Athletic trainers are healthcare professionals. One of their primary responsibilities is to make immediate decisions regarding an athlete’s ability to return to activity following an injury. Their responsibility is to the health and safety of the athlete.
