@boltzgalaxy That is factually incorrect. Thru 6 seasons, like this image shows. Mahomes 24,241 yards in 80 starts. Herbert is at 23,935 yards in 91 starts. Not to mention his playoff yards in his first 6 seasons 💰

This might be a biased take, but after spending over 4 months around the current #Royals coaching staff and front office during the 2020 COVID alternate site/taxi squad, I saw firsthand the kind of people they are—long before most of them got promoted to the MLB level.

These were some of the hardest-working individuals I’ve ever been around. Facility and grounds work starts before most even arrive and continues well after everyone leaves—and this crew was there just as long as us, if not longer. They weren’t just coaching—they were in the trenches with us, helping us pull the tarp when we were short staffed, whatever it took to get work in. Working with hitters, pitchers, talking through the mental side of the game, even just hanging in the stands after workouts talking life.

They’re a humble, down-to-earth group that truly invests in the #KC community. I see the struggles on the field now—no one’s blind to them—but knowing how much work went in behind the scenes back then, I can only imagine how much they’re pouring into it now at the big league level.

I hope they turn it around. They deserve it. That’s a good group of people, and I know they’re putting in the work. #Zumwalt
