@DanKelley66 I think in the sports world today where it's driven by analytics, Mike Shildt uses more of an old school approach to things which is what I believe is the cause of the disconnect between him and the front office in his two managerial tenures which resulted in him leaving.
@DanKelley66 His style and approach didn't mesh well with what the front office had in mind. After all it was "philosophical differences" as to why he was gone in St. Louis after 2021. There was definitely some kind of disconnect between Shildt and the front office of the Padres.
The @RedSox should strongly hire Mike Shildt to be the new manager. Look at his record, whatever his style of coaching is just based on his two stops as a manager speaks for itself.
